Note: During this page we still are just getting the bolts of the bearing blocks snug. There is one other item in this section that you also just get snug and that is the frame post seen in the below picture at the top/left. All other items you can go ahead and tighten,

Next we will install the items circled in red. The bottom three items as well as the one at the top right will also be installed on the left frame plate at the time you install them on the right frame plate.

Start with the engine mounts. Notice the mounts are slightly different. The flat side will go toward the engine. On the right engine mount the top bolt will have a special glow plug mounting plate that is installed. The mounts will be attached with two M3x10mm bolts with the specialty washers. Use a drop of blue loctite on the last few millimeters of the thread. If you have a metal brush I would recommend you brush the threads so that you get good electrical conductivity to the engine. I have had problems with too much loctite as well as the black coating on the bolts causing the glow plug not to work during startup. This results in the engine flooding and will get you frustrated trying to figure out why the engine will not crank up.

Next install the frame mounting blocks. There are four total, two per frame plate. The diagram above is showing the one on the left frame plate. The flat side will be on the same side as the flat side of the engine mounts. Look at the picture at the top of this page. Again blue loctite on the threads.

Use blue loctite on the tip of the M3x12mm bolt. Build this assembly as shown BEFORE you bolt the mounting block to the frame plate. Bolt this assembly to the right frame plate using two M3x8mm bolts and two of the Specialty washers. The manual does not indicate washers but you do need them.
Okay, just two more items in this section. Start with the canopy post at the top-back of the frame plates. You can see it in the photo above. Attach the plastic post with a T3x10mm and standard M3 washer.

Here you mount the rubber canopy spacer to the front/top of the frameset. When you install the rubber canopy spacers there is a "Canopy support" that will go inside the rubber canopy spacer. I was looking in the bags and could not find it. After a few minutes I then realized it was on the frame mounting bolt but was the same diameter so it appeared to be all one part. Also as you can see from the diagram above this will be the first item that will join the two frame plates together.
