| When using the pinch method you may want to adjust the height of the sticks. Shorter is better. |
| Some radios are adjusted by hand tightening
the two parts that make up the stick. Others use a small
set screw, consult your radio manual if you are unsure. Airtronics
RD6000/8000 - To do this turn the top of the stick
counter-clockwise to loosen it. Then turn the bottom part
of the stick clockwise to lower it. When you get it where
you want then turn the top part clockwise until it is
tight. JR 8103 - Loosen the set screw in the top of
the stick then turn the stick to adjust the length.
Remember to tighten the set screw after you set the stick
height. |
