This is the elevator control arm. It goes in the top section
of the frames. The key to getting this together is to make sure
you put the 'A' arms (14) on the correct direction. If you put
them on backwards you might crack them. Test fit each A-arm to
find the right way. Place the A-arm against a ball (the
swashplate would work for this test), don't snap it on, just push
it against the ball and notice how far it goes on. Flip it around
and try the other side. The side that goes on further is the
correct direction and needs to go toward the center. Install them
on the elevator control arm (15). Mark one side of the control
arm so you can keep track of which way you installed the A-arms.
I marked a letter 'T' on the top. If you don't and get it upside
down then the A-arms will be backwards and you risk breaking them
if you go ahead and force them on the balls.
After you get the A-arms on and pins installed, you need to
install this assembly into the frames. Fold the A-arms straight
out then angle the assembly about 45 degrees and insert it
through the top/back of the frames (as viewed in the 2nd picture).
Once you get it inside, angle it back flat (with the side you
marked facing up). The round center pivot points will fit in the
slots on the left and right sides.
