Hatori SB-8-(SX) tuned muffler
I really like this muffler, it is very quiet and the engine seems to like it. I put many flights on this muffler and I like it a lot. Can't really say I've noticed a power increase, but the engine does run a lot smoother and more consistent with this muffler. I highly recommend this Hatori SB-8 muffler. As a side note, you will want to use an exhaust deflector. I used the Hobbico HCAP2150
Note: I have been told that the part number in England is Hatori 337
Weston UK Genesis 1pc
I only put 9 flights on it before my TT36 broke a rod :-( Since then I installed a Leo37 just like on my Raptor #2. I only have 11 tanks through the new engine, but it seems to have broken in well. Since both helis have a Leo37, that makes comparing these two mufflers easier. At this point, I can tell the Weston makes the engine a little stronger than the Hatori. They both idle great and transition good. Although it's only a slight difference, the Hatori does seem to keep the engine rpm more consistant. But that could also be that the new engine in Raptor #1 is not fully broke in.
Pros:
+good price
+has a noticeable power increase (don't expect to double your power with any +pipe, but you will notice an increase)
+easy to install
+not in the way of the canopy or low speed carb adj. hole
+engine can be removed without taking off the muffler.

Cons:
-louder then my Hatori SB-8.
Hatori cnh333 tuned pipe
This is the Hatori 333 pipe and 341 header. I have not tried it, but a friend I fly with is running it and said it increased his power significantly. He has flown both my Raptors (one with the Hatori muffler and the Weston) and he said his has more power. One thing I really hate about his is that it blocks the low speed needle adjustment. He had to cut down a screwdriver so it would fit in there, but you have to wait under the pipe cools or you'll burn yourself.
Century 3033 tuned muffler
Best buy for the money. Not as loud as the stock muffler and provides more power.
Helimax HMXE3020 tuned pipe Louder than the 3033. Finicky like tuned pipes usually are. It doesn't like to run smooth at low rpm's. When running high rpm's it does have a lot of power.
Weston 1pc Genesis At first I had the Hatori SAB9II muffler on my OS 61 LX. The idle had to be sloppy rich and it wasn't easy to tune. Later I put a Weston 1pc Genesis muffler on it and that totally changed the engine. It added even more power, but the best part is the engine ran smoother and idled great!

Gr8Lakes Custom 46 muffler
I've had about a half dozen people email me to find out exactly which muffler I use on my 50. I looked at the receipt and it does not have a part number. When I ordered it I just said I needed the "Gr8Lakes Custom 46 muffler". It cost $32.99 plus shipping. I think the one listed on their website <here> GRM46TW is it. Don't forget to get an exhaust divertor. The picture here is of mine, click on it to see a larger view of it. I do need to give credit where credit is due. I found out about the muffler from a posting from 'Auger' on a message board. He had good results with it. I'm a fan of the Weston Genesis muffler and was going to get their 50 version but no one had it in stock so I thought I would try out the Gr8Lakes one and so far I really like it. BTW: I use 15% nitro fuel. It's Power Master 15% with 20% all synthetic oil.
Hatori SB-15FH Hatori SB-15FH - I have several flights on it and I give it a big thumbs up! I really like the sound. It is a lower frequency and overall has a quieter sound level. Also the power increase is noticable, not a night and day difference but it is there. And fuel economy is a little better. I get another minute of flight. The downside to this muffler.... and it is a big downside... is the cost. This thing is expensive! Also it does require you to cut the canopy as it will touch.

One note about the Hatori SB-15FH that I have on my TT50 is that it is not a bolt and go thing. I had to make a spacer so the muffler would clear the frames and the tail boom support rod. <here> is a picture of the spacers. I did not have a block of aluminum to work with so I ended up making three plates out of 1" x 1/8" bar. I used epoxy between all of the plates to seal them and that has worked great.

I noticed that Jason Krause has just started selling a new version Hatori muffler for the 50. <here> is the link to his website. He calls it the SB-50HP. It has a different header then the SB-15FH that I have and it comes with a bracket for mounting to the frames. Also it cost less then the SB-15FH I bought. Still a lot of money but if you want a good sound level with good power then it is worth it. I have been very happy with mine.
