![]() Stall with half roll |
head off to the left about a 100ft down the runway turn around and come back, you will need to build up a little speed. As the helicopter gets back to center (out in front of you) pull back on the elevator like you're going to do a stall turn. The nose will be pointed straight up. Slightly before the helicopter stalls, give a lot of right aileron to make the helicopter rotate a full 180 degrees. Then let the helicopter slide back down tail first and start adding forward elevator to pull out. |
| backwards stall with inverted exit | |
| backwards loop | |
| Immelman turn | Half loop, at the top of the loop do a half roll |
| name of trick | Instead of hovering flips, from a hover, go forward for 5-10 ft to pick up some speed and pull back on the elevator, when the helicopter is facing straight up, do a hard right roll 180 degrees, pull back on the elevator exponentially to allow the helicopter to slide back to the original hover position, but this time you will be inverted. |
| name of trick | do a loop, when you reach the bottom continue as if you are going to do a second loop, but do a stall turn then just as you reach the bottom of the loop pull back on the elevator and do the trick at the top of this list. |
| flight routine | I'm always adding/changing it to combine more tricks as I learn them. Currently after I do a few ground maneuvers, I then go into an Immelman turn, then as the helicopter goes off to the left side I slow it down and start flying backwards toward my right then add collective and push forward on the elevator just like I'm going into a backwards loop, but just as the helicopter starts going vertical, I go to 0 collective and let the helicopter stall with the nose pointed straight down. Then as the helicopter starts to fall down I push forward a little on the elevator to come out upside down and fly straight for about 20 feet then push forward and then start the process over again, but this time because I start upside down, that puts the helicopter stalling nose up, then fall back out backwards. As it's curving out of the stall, I give a little right rudder until the nose is pointed forward then pull back on the elevator and stall (nose up) then give right aileron so that it rolls right for 180 degrees in the tail slide then with a little forward elevator pull out. The helicopter will be going backwards but the forward elevator will slow it down then you will be back in forward flight. Then I go off to my left hand side, turn and as I head back to center position I do a stall with a half roll and come out backwards. |
| flight routine | Lift off the ground into a hover then turn nose-in and back the heli away from you, stop then go forward back toward you, give right rudder to slowly swing the tail around while still coming back to you, transistion into a 30ft counter-clockwise circle tail first, every complete circle should get smaller and gain a few feet altitude. This will transfer into a slow pirouette about 20ft up. Go to flight mode 1 head off to your left, then back to the right (gain some speed) pull back on the elevator like you're going to do a stall turn. The nose will be pointed straight up. Let the heli slide back down tail first, 1/4 roll to the right, push forward on the elevator to stop the descent, transistion into FFF to your left, as soon as the heli goes to the left side of you, pull back on the elevator to do a stall, then pull full negative, let it travel a little, then give right rudder to make the right side of the helicopter face the ground, give left aileron to pull out of the fall and maintain level side ways flight to your right side, then give left aileron to do a mini stall, give right rudder for 90 degrees, push forwar on elevetor to come out of the mini stall, continue tail first flight to the left side of you then make a hard bank to the left (heli's right side since going tail first), now going tail first to the right, when you reach center (out in front of you), push a lot of collective, the right rudder for 180 degrees, then forward elevator to push nose down, lose altitude, gain speed, do a stall on the right side, slide back down, right aileron medium speed, then forward elevtor to make a large curve pull out of the stall, the nose will now be pointed left, gain speed going toward left side and aimed toward a spot 100 ft in front of you, pull back on elevator then left aileron and right rudder 90 degrees, this will be a kinda of knife edge, but with the nose up, after it starts falling, push forward on elevator to make a slow pull out going backwards. It will be coiming back toward you off to the left side, bank it so it comes back to you and off to the right side, then go back to normal flight mode and transistion into a backwards outside circle. Do a few random ground manuevers then back to flight mode 1 and do the trick at the top of this list. |
| My current favorite ground manuever I like to do is very slow counter-clockwise pirouette in a medium speed 30-40ft clockwise circle. So slow that you only get 2-3 pirouettes during each complete circle. |
