 This is setup using the controller that comes with RFD
Switch 1 = Normal & Flight mode/heading hold
Switch 2 = Throttle hold
Switch 3 = Throttle cut

***This file has 1/2lb more weight then my original file. It fly's even closer to my own raptor now.

NOTE: your browser may add ".txt" to the end of the file when you download it, just take off the .txt and it will work.

Put the file in your \RealFlight\Planes directory.
  If you are using your own transmitter, then these are the radio settings I'm using:

Normal flight mode
==coll: 22,30,38,46,54,59,70,83,96
==throttle: 2,13,24,36,46,58,69,80,93
==tail: 32,35,39,42,45,48,49,51,51
Flight mode 1
==coll: 20,27,33,41,49,62,75,82,91

All ATV's in the radio are set to 100 and no sub trim on any servo

Heading hold is engage on the Flight mode 1 switch. So when I flip
the switch to go into flight mode 1, the gyro turns to heading hold.
I set the 3rd switch on the radio that came with RFD to do throttle
hold, but kill the engine. The throttle hold switch does throttle
hold, but the engine remains at idle.
Why doesn't the Raptor show up in the 'Select aircraft' list?
If it's not showing up in the list then I know of only two
reason. First check that the file TT_Raptor_(.30_heli).heli
is in this folder: C:\Program Files\RealFlight\Planes
The second thing is that for some reason, some browsers
want to save this file with a .txt extension. So instead of:
C:\Program Files\RealFlight\Planes\TT_Raptor_(.30_heli).heli
you might get:
C:\Program Files\RealFlight\Planes\TT_Raptor_(.30_heli).heli.txt
Remove the .txt and then it will show up in the list.
 
I see the heli with the blades turning slowly, but it does not respond to the controls
I suspect the latest version of RFD reads the .heli differently now. It appears that it misinterpets the switch settings. One person told me he made it work by unchecking the switch options:
select 'TT_Raptor_(.30_heli)_new' from the list
click the 'edit' button
In the 'Radio type' group, click the 'edit now' button
uncheck 'Idle Up 1 Flight Mode - Switch 3 On'
uncheck 'Throttle Hold Flight Mode - Switch 2 On'
uncheck 'Throttle Cut - Switch 1 On'
