This tip was given to me by Scott Cathey.
To help prevent damage to the upper section of the frames from a side impact you can install a frame post between the canopy post. You can get this frame post by ordering part# HN6016 You will also need a long set screw like used on the Raptor canopy mounts. That or you could use a long bolt threaded into the frame post then use a dremel to cut off the head then screw on the canopy post.

Tip from Andrew Griffith - When you buy the gyro plate #HN6051, it will come with a frame post that you can use for the above mod.
